A new development in tray sealing technology allows a M.A.P. protected package with a rigid lid enclosed into a sealed pack.
G. Mondini and Select Packaging Systems provide this solution for manufactures that are after a way to increase the quality perception and convenience to consumers, and provide options for either re-closable or functional lids.
Re-closable lids give an enhanced pack appearance. With the placement of the lid inside the tray, provides an excellent reusable closure use while eliminating the risk of losing lids during transport. Functional lids also provide a reusable closure, and the inset can be varied depending on the product's specific needs.
Like many other applications, G. Mondini takes care of the whole product line as a complete and integrated system, from the tray denester to the tray sealer and ranging outputs from 20 to 200 trays per minute. This includes the automatic insertion of the insert into the tray
